Players are split between one killer and multiple survivors. The killer must eliminate all survivors before they escape, while the survivors must complete objectives to survive or escape. One of the original killers was inspired by Jason Voorhees. To avoid potential DMCA issues, the team decided to replace him with a brand-new original character called Slasher from the game escape from area 51, with his own design and backstory. The music in this video is not related to Friday Night Funkin' (FNF) or Pillar Chase. It was specifically chosen to match the atmosphere of Forsaken.
