Wellsville, Ohio has certainly seen better days. Located in Columbiana County, Wellsville was a place thriving with railroad transportation, pottery, and ceramic manufacturing. Unfortunately with the industrial decline, and the pottery / ceramic manufacturers closing up, this area has had severe economic decline. Businesses are closed up, and many homes are abandoned. Population has dwindled to just over 3000 people, from a height of 8800 back in the 1920's. Median household income is about half of the national average. Unemployment is over 13%, and poverty is at a soaring 33%. With that said, I still think it has potential and is truly capable of being a very charming place with a rich history. Let's take a drive and check out some of the hardest hit areas! â–ºJoin my community for exclusive members only content: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjrj72gaUFc06G2VyLFFIlw/join
