Hello :) This is the requested transcription I've done of the Three Dog Night version of the Hoyt Axton song "Never Been To Spain". The bass player on this track was Joe Schermie. You can find this transcription at Muzento when you sign up with an Intermediate Lesson Plan. This is one of the songs where it could be played a million different ways. The possibilities are endless. If you're not careful though, it could turn into a bass solo and I think that would take away from the song. So part of the challenge would be to keep your discipline and don't overplay. I like how he kept the articulations and rhythmic figures but found ways to add variations around that. It's not too difficult but a lot of fun to play. I hope you enjoy :) It makes for a good drum bass Play-Along which can be found here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLK1xDwkQPE Don't forget to "like" and "subscribe" and thanks for watching :) -------------- If you appreciate what I do and or find it helpful, I hope you might consider supporting me through the following: GregsTranscripts - https://www.gregstranscripts.com/ Muzento - https://www.muzento.com or you can make a donation through PayPal at - http://bit.do/Much-appreciated ------------------- Copyright Disclaimer: Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for fair use for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
