Big- TEDBF की सबसे बड़ी वापसी - Big Update on TEDBF Fighter Jet program India is moving forward with its ambitious Twin Engine Deck Based Fighter (TEDBF) program, which aims to develop an indigenous carrier-based fighter jet for the Indian Navy. The aircraft is being designed by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and will eventually replace the Navy’s MiG-29K fighters operating from aircraft carriers. Recently, the TEDBF program has moved closer to the Critical Design Review (CDR) stage. Once approved, the project will move forward for funding approval from the Ministry of Defence and the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS). After that, prototype development and testing will begin. The TEDBF will be a twin-engine 4.5+ generation naval fighter with advanced avionics, AESA radar, and the ability to carry a wide range of modern weapons. It is expected to operate from India’s aircraft carriers like INS Vikrant and INS Vikramaditya.
